QUESTIONS
Before you buy, ask.
Short answers about prices, keys, age and how verdicts change.
Which prices do you show?
US list prices for the standard edition, checked on the date printed, plus the publishers’ euro and pound list prices. Sales and regional stores differ, so the price index is a reference, not a checkout.
What is cost per hour?
The first-year estimate (base price, the extras we bought, twelve months of any subscription) divided by the hours we logged. It measures value, not quality.
Do publishers give you keys?
No, and we would not accept them. Every game here was bought at full price on our own accounts.
Why no free-to-play games?
Different question, different site. Free games ask whether the shop is fair; paid games ask whether the receipt was worth it. We only try to answer the second.
Is this a gambling site?
No. We cover paid video games only and do not review casinos, slots, betting products or games built around loot boxes.
How old do I need to be?
The site is written for adults. Each game carries its own age rating; accounts with payment methods must be held by adults.
What does "would pay again" mean?
The biggest weight in every verdict. Knowing what we know after three weeks, would we hand over the same money for the same game?
How do you make money?
Store links may be affiliate links; buy through one and the store may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Stores and publishers cannot buy a place or change a verdict.
Can I suggest a game?
Yes, via the contact page. Tell us what you paid, how long you played and whether you would pay again.
