1. What this site is

Bought & Held publishes independent reviews and opinions about paid video games. We are not the developer, publisher or store for any game listed and have no access to your accounts or purchases.

2. Age

The site is intended for adults. Individual games carry their own age ratings.

3. Accuracy

We buy, play and re-test carefully, but games and prices change often. Verdicts are our opinion, produced by the method on the methodology page. Check the store for current pricing and requirements before buying.

4. Links and affiliate disclosure

Store links lead to third-party websites we do not control. Some are affiliate links: buy through them and we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change the price you pay or the verdict we give.

5. Intellectual property

The text and layout of this site belong to Bought & Held. Game names, logos and key art belong to their publishers and are used to identify the games reviewed. Rights holders who believe an image is used improperly should contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

6. Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or any game it links to. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the site is operated, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
