The game
Tamriel at MMO scale with the series’ habit of letting you wander off the path. Every zone scales, so you can go anywhere from the start, and a solo player can spend a hundred hours without queueing for a group.
The rhythm
An hour is a quest chain. An evening is a zone. It saves nothing to a schedule and does not care if you vanish for a month.

What you pay for
Buy the game once, play forever. ESO Plus adds DLC access and a crafting bag that serious crafters will feel they need, which is the nudge we mark it down for. Chapters cost money and stack up over years.
What it asks of you
Comfort with layered pricing. The game itself is honest; the extras require you to decide, monthly, what you actually use.
